“We were divided into teams and had a talk on different areas of engineering and jobs from designing bridges to fixing cookers. After this we had to prepare a talk on what Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic engineers do, and their roles within the army.”

“It was a really good day. I learned a lot and hope we can go back again.”
(Mark Cook)

“We made our way outside and came to face a large £500,000 crane on the back of a vehicle, which the army demonstrated. To our surprise they got three of us to take over the controls. After this we had to create a machine that could lift a kilogram of weight and place it precisely on the spot. When we built our models we presented them to the rest of the groups.” (Joe Spark).
